Introduction

With over 5 million business users in 2023, Gmail has become the most trusted email service provider for many organizations. While the nearly frictionless experience with Gmail can give you a false sense of security, your business data is at risk even when using a secure app like Gmail.

For instance, over 1 million phishing attacks were reported in the first quarter of 2022. Though Google takes numerous measures to safeguard user data, they are not responsible for backing up your data. Using a third-party cloud backup solution is the easiest way to safeguard your business data on Gmail and other cloud applications.

Choosing the right backup solution to secure your Gmail data is not an easy task as it takes a lot of time and effort to do an objective evaluation. We decided to do all the heavy lifting for you by putting together this comprehensive comparison guide.

Granted, we may be biased; don’t take our word for it. Try SysCloud backup for Google Workspace (that includes Gmail backup) for a 30 - day free trial to validate our claims.
