SysCloud is a SSAE18/SOC2 certified organization. What does this mean? It means we have stringent reporting requirements on how we manage security, availability, data processing integrity, data confidentiality, and privacy.

SysCloud’s cloud backup software uses 256-bit AES data encryption when it is stored on our servers as well as when it’s accessed by customers. All requests to backup data and retrieve backed up data is transmitted via Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) using Transport Layer Security (TLS).

SysCloud backup allows you to define a data retention period as per your requirements. This will allow you to put a hold on data for any duration. On-demand data quarantine feature is not available. However, you can trigger data quarantine if any user in your organization or institution violates any of the compliance or safety policy you may have configured using SysCloud’s add on products for compliance and data privacy.

When you install SysCloud backup for the first time, SysCloud takes 24 hours to complete the initial backup process. Incremental backup depends on the number of files and the size of the incremental data that needs to be backed up.

The duration needed for restore will depend on the size of the file(s), folders being restored. It could range from instant restore to several hours if you want to restore data for a large number of users. In either case, data restore requires just a few clicks to get started.

SysCloud restores the shared files to the owner of the files with folder structure and sharing permissions intact. Data can also be restored to a custom folder for both Drive/OneDrive and custom/specific labels for emails.

SysCloud lets you backup all file type extensions except external app files installed with Google Drive (Via Connect more apps).

If you choose to cancel any of the paid backup plans, the subscription will remain active till the end of your subscription period. We delete your data after 14 days of expiry of the subscription period.
